But since all of us are in the beta now, doesn't that technically make us beta TESTERS too (and so far the feedback fromthe masses is not to pleasant, for the most part)...and since HOME is going to be in BETA forever, why wait so long for everyday users to get access to it when SONY could have let us in from day one of private beta launch...or Fall 2007 when it was suppose to go public....or Spring 08 when it was postponed from Fall 07.
My point is that HOME has a long, long , L...
"I was in Home since the second wave of private invites, let me tell you... from that period to now... holy crap, leaps and bounds, it's came a long ways and has a long way to go yet."
...wow....I mean wow thats something.... If that is the case and the present HOME is actually leaps and bonds better then it was a (roughly) year ago. Then what in the H_E_double_hockey_sticks were you beta testers (i.e. you HIGHATUS) doing the whole time. Seriously how did u make HOME ...
That would just about make the 2 year wait worth it.
Exactly, I mean...I can understand if this was still fall 2007, when the open beta was suppose to come out and the beta was lack luster. But 2 years later and its still lack luster....come on.
PS: the sad part is that this open beta is the upgraded version of the closed beta...what the hell were people in the closed beta doing for 2 years!
If I get in anytime soon (hopefully by tonight's end) I will not be logging out for while....a LONG while.
Lucky little @#^&...sorry I am just a LITTLE pissed write now
< anger turning into murderous intent >
< anger starts to set in >
I been trying for 73 mins now and I am still HOMEless....can't get past the "Initializing" pop up.
lol....priceless
^^whats disagreeable about what he said
Good call...stop reading and go download it now!!!
....at 65% :)
I predict a lot of disappointment...man i hope I'm wrong.
since it was planned to be an open beta to begin with WHY not just release a year ago when others were getting invitations to join the HOME closed beta. I mean if it was the final version of HOME and it took this long to get out that makes sense...get the kinks out, bugs fixed , etc. But to announce HOME and wait so long for the open beta to arrive (almost 2 years) doesn't make sense. Even Gmail is still in beta but atleast they let everybody try it from day one and when the final version ...

"As many Sony fans know, the PlayStation 3 hasn't exactly been a financial success for Sony quite yet. Every console sold has not necessarily led to profits for the company, but that trend is to change soon if you believe what Sony head honcho Kaz Hirai had to say. He believes that overall PS3 operations will start to bring in...
How do you get the 360 not making a profit !!! The 360 system has been selling at a profit for a while now, (can't remember the exact date but I believe it was early this year) and that was way before the price cut. While the PS3 on the other hand has been selling at a loss since DAY ONE. I remember some Sony rep (Phil or Ken) stating that fact when the PS3 was about to launch at the unprecedented $600 price point, claiming the hardware components namely the Blue Ray and the CELL made the p...
Why not just take out special moves, jumps, blocking, and while we're at it...why not take away the other opponent as well.
My point is that "throws" along with everything else is part of the game, has being for over ten years (also been allowed in tournament play for just as long)
When I play online w/my PS3 or 360 my (cable) connection is great, 90 percent of the time, few issues, and almost no lag. But its just when I get the firmware updates from PSN does it take a long time. I don't know why either, plus its still the case when I've given all available bandwidth to my PS3 too.
So I really really do feel for the guy when he says it takes 40 mins to get the update, it took me about 52 mins to get the 2.53 (was watching two episodes of "Family Guy...
Can NOT wait to buy this
lol, no its 'terry bogard' from fatal fury and kof (king of fighters), both r 2D fighters. However, xbox live arcade is re releasing kof 98 soon, if you're interested.
I planned on getting the PS3 version, mostly due to the d-pad, and I am also glad the install is optional for those that want it. Here is hoping the online is buttery smooth like like HD Remix (even though its not the same GGPO server but like I said, here is hoping).
